Resign or you’re sacked.“Mutual termination”, I think they call it. :|

22 February 2010 at 12:01 am #23529yeah, we’d be in a much better position with elephant head  . He’s just spent 40 million, got a far better squad than us and has a whole point extra. Yeah, get him back
22 February 2010 at 12:11 am #23537Neil Warnock.
No….hold on!
My thinking is, it’s not looking good at all, is it? In all probability, we will sink into the relegation places within the next two weeks. Can you honestly see us getting much off Birmingham and Liverpool? I can’t. Ok, so other relegation threatened sides may also lose their games. Or they may not. We could get dragged down into the mire, or at least right next to it.
My thinking is that whoever comes in, with 12 games left, the damage may be irreversible. Therefore we would need a guy who is experienced. Somebody who pulls no punches, and who has experience of pushing for promotion, and building a team to compete at Championship level. And with Crystal Palace’s current financial plight, I honestly feel that a move for Neil Warnock would make sense. Some will be aghast at this suggestion, I know that. But I feel we need a manager who will basically stick a toe up players backsides if they don’t perform, and he might be the guy to rebuild the side with. I cannot think of anybody else, really. Ian Holloway? Realistically, are we going to attract a big-name Premiership manager? No. So basing it on experience, and past form, I’d be considering Warnock. Yes, some like him, some detest him. But at the end of the day, what’s the alternative? To have a manager who everybody loves, but is not up to the job? I’d rather have some success under an arrogant manager, rather than fail with a nice guy.

22 February 2010 at 12:34 am #23557martinez to go now.hughes cud do a job perhaps got the bottle to kick some ass :?No disrespect, but I think we’ve more chance of getting Nerys Hughes in, rather than Mark Hughes.
Yes, I’m sure he could do the job, but I don’t think he’d come. And possibly we need a manager with a lot of Championship experience, as we might go down whatever, now.
