just read in the LEP today that PNE have snapped up Rangers striker Andy Little on a bosman .
His hit rate is 33 goals in 65 games – seems like a bargain that has been missed out on!25 June 2014 at 4:54 pm #132039Whilst that is a good strike rate, the level he is playing at is equivalent to the Sunday League.

28 June 2014 at 4:31 am #132067Striker oriol riera rumour to sign tuesWas thought to be going to Everton in January, perhaps Bobby is feeling a bit guilty for dumping us and has recommended this fellow Spanish geezer to Uwe. :cheer:

I was quite excited about this guys presence and goal scoring record. It’s a long time since we had a player who scores his fair share of headed goals. :cheer:

Corners that can’t beat the first man, crosses that are overhit or go out of play.
28 June 2014 at 7:01 pm #132075Beausejour’s contribution is often overlooked. Personally, I shall miss him. Perhaps he’ll be on television tonight.
April 2013; Jarvis, who was brought in from Wolves for this purpose in the summer, and Jean Beausejour at Wigan, are way out in front in the open play crosses chart, which also features Leighton Baines, Antonio Valencia and Gareth Bale.

28 June 2014 at 8:54 pm #132079Im glad the signings r getting done early
28 June 2014 at 10:00 pm #132080I’m sure Uwe will make at least one maybe two loan signings. The lad Alex Pritchard from Spurs is being linked. Great stuff lets get the fek over to Germany and make the chairman and players leave their mobiles at home. We need to keep hold of all the players we’ve got and that includes Holt who will be a good bench player this season I’m sure.

What a journey!28 June 2014 at 11:10 pm #132081“Oriol and Jordi were team mates at Barcelona and I think it shows you the regard that Jordi has for our club that he would help us in that way by talking to him and telling him about the benefits of signing for us.”
Thank you, Jordi. Have you mentioned us to Lionel too?

According to many Gomez only left because of the boo boys, surely he wouldn’t ask a friend to chance the same fate.
Or could the truth actually be that Jordi left because at his age he would be a fool not to accept the money on offer in the premier league from a bigger club than us.
7 July 2014 at 5:04 pm #132175There are no hard feelings between Tavs and the Millers and I am sure he’ll get a standing ovation when he visits the New York Stadium, with a rendition of his song “Ohhh we’re half way there, ohh James Tavernier” ringing out from the North Stand.
