…playing at the Crispin Arms in Scholes/ Ince about 6:30pm today. If you like The Jam and a good mixture of old and new stuff, call in for a pint after the match. There will be quite a few of us Tics men in.

3 January 2011 at 3:48 pm #54533Will do Standish.
Went in sulking like a little kid after the game but soon forgot about it. The place was packed to the rafters and I couldn’t believe the price of the ale. Tetley smooth £1.68, carling cold lager, £1.90.From Matlock to ManU

It’s an unusual time for a gig but I believe its popular with the locals and quite a few get in.

Lad said pub too small, not a lot in, but everyone seemed to enjoy it.A typical Sunday afternoon crowd after the footy had been on ! Yeah it was a decent gig. I aint a Jam fan but they played a good selection of other stuff to please most ! Tell them to give Danny a ring at the Railway in leyland much bigger pub and usually pretty busy on a Sat night which is his bands night !
23 March 2011 at 12:34 am #62328Thanks for that will tell the lad. It was Rik the lead guitarist and singer you was talking to, he is not a football mon so wouldn’t know what cockneylatic is about.
