wealdstone was just a stop off
Apparently it was Bennett’s coaches of Warrington. I’d love the organiser to be a poster on here so we would know for sure. Was thinking of invoicing them for the train home for our 16yr old but I’d be wasting my time.

relaying what lad has told me, and his mates say the same,it was a few idiots sat at back of the coach who he says he didnt know ,i believe them cos they good lads. the driver should still not have left them stuck in londonI would imagine that the small print of the booking says that that is a possibility should the coach be damaged

Was thinking of invoicing them for the train home for our 16yr old but I’d be wasting my time.as the fellow from Wealdstone said.the same kids smashed roof tiles in the toilets and they thought it was hilarious.their coach had this damage even before Wembley.other wiganers at Wealdstone shamed them into paying for the damage to the people at Wealdstone.
Ok Griff, here`s what my lad told me (he wouldn`t lie to me I`m certain of that)Apparently there was a ceiling light cracked on the coach, a lot of the lads were asked to chip in a couple of quid for the cost which they did (my son didn`t need to do this as he was at the front and the light was done at the back). This was before the game I think. He said that when they got back to the coach after the game a few Millwall were launching bricks at it. The driver told the passengers he was not taking them home. Now if they paid up like they said they did surely there shouldn`t have been a problem. That`s all I heard.
And my reply to Dave was. How can he take the moral high ground about a bunch of kids when hes in his 30s threatening people on forums with baseball bats ?
I don’t know your son (to my knowledge) and i acknowledge that you trust him but as said elsewhere, We were all as nice as shite to our parents and told them porkies in order to avoid trouble. But i don’t think i need to tell you that :P
I agree with dave to a point. Whilst i agree that kids (young men) at football matches are mostly well behaved there is a minority that are arseholes, In general life its the majority of kids (young men) that are arseholes and a minority that are ok.
I don’t know your son (to my knowledge) and i acknowledge that you trust him but as said elsewhere, We were all as nice as shite to our parents and told them porkies in order to avoid trouble. No worries, I did today what my Mam would do to me years ago and requestioned him. Exactly the same story as above. He`s still gutted about it and took the shine off his day. He also knows now that he will only go to away trips on Supporters run coaches.

coaches/minibus are good if you get a good group of lads together who respect the driver and have a good laugh weve always booked travel never had any issues maybe tell him be carefull who he goes with mate ? if him and his mates get in witha good group of lads who go latics in 2/3 years time there could be a good group of them doing there own coaches this is what happened to me and a few of my mates anyway just a thought
Why was the coach just full of young teenage lads and no adults/parents of any sort ?. Surely there must have been 1 or 2 on it to sort the mess out.

As this is all I was commenting on the rest of YOUR quip is meaningless. Again… we didn’t trash coaches, we knew Arky was the one who would get it in the neck and unlike most youths these days we had respect… we didn’t trash coaches. Are you getting this yet?
