Suprised no one’s mentioned the snow possibilties tomorrow. According to the weather report its going to be starting around kick off for a few hours. There’s a few lower league games called off already and i wonder because they’re quite big on the health and safety at Wigan that they might wait till the morning forecast and then make a decision.
4 February 2012 at 12:46 am #80334If the snow’s only due to start at kick off can’t see any reason at all to call off beforehand just in case.
4 February 2012 at 12:51 am #80335Well on the Met office website it actually says its due to start earlier. Be suprised if they didn’t consider calling it off knowing heavy snow was due to fall. Might be that they get advised by the police.
Might wait for a more concrete forecast in the morning. Seems there is definitely heavy snow coming, just when and how much.

micky have you not given thought to telling your mrs that due to severe weather warnings it would be highly irresponsible and dangerous to travel all the way to deepest cheshire.

‘D’……if you know my ‘mrs’ then you should further understand that nothing will come between her and her daughter…….as much as I find her ‘partner’ distasteful.
Hey!…….I like Cheshire….particularly [insert best place here].
Be lucky….
4 February 2012 at 1:28 pm #80355Would Asda and Pets at Home close `on police advice`…would they fuck,if the pitch is playable the game should be on.

Just checked and Preston is off because of a frozen pitch, not what might happen in a few hours time.
I must admit it is starting to look like snowy skies moving in
Wrap up warm folks – we may get snowed in – now there’s a horrifying thought :woohoo:
