Didn’t travel away to Sheffield but to who ever did, let’s hear the away faithful. How did we play? Good, average or shite? Do we have a similar pattern forming for away games? Do we play the same way away as we do at home? Are we defensive away in your opinion? Did you think that the away games you visited against struggling sides could have yielded better results? Are you beginning to realise that our squad hasn’t got the strength that you initially thought it had? Do you know that we haven’t got any strikers capable of getting double figures in this league? Are we, despite fairly recently competing in the top flight of football and winning the FA Cup a little club out of our depth or are we Wigan Athletic with the ‘Believe’ banner? Let’s not settle for mediocrity and mere survival, let’s pin our hopes on getting back up there where we belong, taking the piss! :)
28 October 2018 at 12:10 pm #172740Got to give credit were it’s due under the circumstances we didn’t play that bad well especially in the latter part of the second half.
We could have nicked a draw with the chances we missed late on. We had 7 shots to 4 on target and the difference was they had a forward who took his chances.
You can’t help thinking Evans would have made a hell of a difference in stemming Thier midfield.
Now onto the sheep fornicaters on Sunday with there 50,000 travelling army. Biggest club in Leeds28 October 2018 at 3:07 pm #172744Defending cost us yesterday. Every Blades goal could have been avoided. Good side though and I’m sure they will be in the mix come May.

30 October 2018 at 6:10 pm #172770My tennis coach, A Sheffield U fan said he thought that Wigan were one of the best teams to visit Hillsborough this season. He said that we threatened a lot, and not many teams go there and try to attack, as we did. He also said that the og was unfortunate, and their second just on half time gave them the impetus to change gear …… which it seems is what they did. Overall he thought we weren’t as bad as the scoreline suggests.
There is hope!!

1. At least someone reads my posts.
2. I wasn’t there (good job … I may have got lost).
3. He plays tennis
4. I’ve got no karma
5. Everyone including the team went to the wrong place. We played the wrong team30 October 2018 at 8:37 pm #172775The goal on HT is a killer. Completely changes the team talk at the break and the ideas that Cookie will have had. Then, as we did at Preston, we concede within 10 minutes and go 2 goals behind.
30 October 2018 at 9:13 pm #172777A heavy defeat like Preston this wasn’t.
Could and should of taken the lead which would of been different game again, we equalised then as said previously their second changed it again.
We always looked dangerous and was never out the game until last 5 minutes when it was too late.
Another lesson learned hopefully,we have defence problems but confident a more consistent line up we will be more solid -
