we beat Bolton tomorrow night ? Does that mean we should give Rosler more time like post Derby.Or have posters made their minds up that it’s time to change.Me for one can’t see him changing the footballing strategies which have put us in this position. A change sooner rather than later would hopefully re- ignite some of the players who frankly play like they don’t want to be out there.We are better than what wev’e seen so far ….aren’t we ?
On paper I would say we are better than this. As I’ve said a few times and on the homepage, we change the team too many times to create any form of continuity.
Wigan Athletic needs a manager who isn’t afraid to admit when he has got things wrong and then trying not to rectify them by using the same pig headed tactics like Martinez did. Take away the F.A Cup and a 7 match run and it was 4 awful years, Hutchings did it and Jewell decided to just blame the fans instead. Rosler is in the same vein. Steve Bruce only changed things when he needed to or when someone went off form and he had easily the best squad assembled but Whelan wouldn’t let him progress. This squad is streets ahead of the rest of the league and there is no excuse that they are near the bottom, none at all. Calum McManaman on his day is the best winger in the country, i don’t care what anyone says so why is he never fit and in the wrong positions.
