personally i think Wolves are now doomed to relegation. I think this weeks incident for Muamba will impact on Bolton heavily. I cant see them getting over this and therefore regretably will leave them in trouble. I predict we will get a point at Anfield on saturday and we will beat Stoke the following week. this will lift us out of the bottom three and put added pressure on QPR who from all accounts are in player turmoil with Hughes’s approach. IF we can keep our heads above water and pick up some steady eddy points i think us spanking wolves at end of season will see us safe. i am of course very bias and in saying that, i think its about time we beat ManUtd aswell.

on a slightly serious note, in comparison to the football wolves play we are a far better outfit. we just need a bit of lady luck. we wont finish bottom. we just need to keep the other teams in our sights and not get stranded. i think 4 points over next two weeks will stand us well for the final push.

I agree about Wolves situation ,regarding Bolton it could go two ways really depending how it effects the players ,Qpr’s run in is the worst of the bottom five having to face most of the top six in the ten games remaining as the op says we need to keep the other teams in our sight also Blackburn could have one bad result and the fans would possibley turn on the team again

Love your optimism but the table doesnt lie especially at this time of year.
Blackburn are easily the best side of the bottom five with the underperforming QPR just behind them.I think they will beat Liverpool tonight to set up a tussle between them and Bolton for the final spot.
Sorry to be pessimistic but the worst faults in our team are goals scored and we havent got any quality in that department at this level at the moment. That situation has cost us numerous points this season and it annoys me that the points needed to stay up this year will probably be a record low.A bit of scouting and hunting out a striker last summer and in january even on loan could have meant things would have been so different.
The euphoria of staying up on 42 points and traeting it as a celebration meant jack all was done to improve the squad last summer. Why is everything going to change overnight?
I cant see us having enough but it is tragic as we really were only a couple of players short!

I agree with that…..a prooven goalscorer or two and we would have been mid-table. Its crazy what we ave done with Rodders…we should have taken whatever for him and got another goalscorer….even if on loan.

As bad as he has been, I would have called back bosselli from his loan in january. I think we will stay up by a point (so the BBC predictor tells me) and I have us down loosing against scousers, chelsea, man ure and arsenal…picking up wins from stoke, Wolves and Blackburn…drawing the rest. The way blackburn have gone by winning two on the trott is the key. They play Bolton this weekend, and if they win that, they should be safe…I think we play Blackburn towards the end of the season so could be an easier game for us whilst they celebrate staying up.

Damn! Memo to the Club management: “Why didn’t you try to do that?!”

Well, I suppose they did….but surely we should have tapped into the loan market….the top 6 must have a good young’un who knows where the net is…..mind you, Machieda isn’t ripping up trees at QPR is he.

Dont forget we are 3 points better off on avoiding relegation than we were at this point last season…

If Liverpool beat QPR and we get something out of that game (which if we put in a performance like the last 2 games I can see no reason why not) we will be well on are away to acheiving our aim.

I’m sorry Salford but the last 2 teams we played we have battered teams and created numerous chances and converted 2. At Liverpool I don’t expect us to create a load of chances so I don’t see us scoring. And guess what Liverpool probably will so I can see plenty of reasons why we will not get a result.
