match reporter for 5 live at the fulham v wigan game –
“my prediction was for a 0-0 result in this one – but i wasn’t counting on one of the teams being as bad as wigan are, they are by far the worst team i have seen in the premiership so far this season”
sunday express reporter colin mafham –
“dempsey joyfully cashed in on a woeful wigan performance that poses huge questions over their premier league status,to say they were poor was an understatement”
roberto martinez post match interview –
“we played a game on tuesday and that had an effect on our performance today we never got going in the first half ”
tony pullis post match interview by sky + reporter –
sky man – ” tony,do you think that playing such a hard 120 minute plus penalties in wednesday’s cup tie had a bearing on todays defeat ? ”
tony pullis – “not at all we train to such high fitness levels and have top class coaching and medical staff -the players can handle 3 games a week easily and they are paid enough anyway – so no professional athlete or team can legitmately use that excuse“.
BOBBY C–
” Not heard the dark side for a while, are they sat there next to their wirelesses dieing for us to lose today so they can come out with their usual divel?
Credit where credit is due, well don for starting to turn things round boss. “31 October 2010 at 4:27 pm #49803Welcome back.

31 October 2010 at 4:51 pm #49806You missed a good day out in London yesterday.
Very poor performance from our players, but didn’t ruin a great day out for me.
I think some of those who expect us to be in the Champions League year in year out were a bit hysterical and miffed, though
31 October 2010 at 4:58 pm #49807we played a game on tuesday and that had an effect on our performance today we never got going in the first halfI don’t recall any of Di Santo, Rodallega, Cleverley or N’Zogbia playing over 15-20 minutes on Tuesday.

must admit fulham is/was always my favourite awayday -have you ever seen that monument in the park you walk through to the ground it is a memorial tribute to the ‘international brigade’a multi national force who went to fight against franco’s fascists in 1936,i had the pleasure of showing it to my daughter a couple years ago and explaining how her great grandfather was part of that fine body of men, brought a tear to my late dads eyes when she told him all about it.

And even if it was, I probably would have seen two of them.
Neither big nor clever I know, but a fact all the same.
First time I’d been and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

First time you have been?! Thought you were a superfan?! :) .. I never really enjoy Fulham away plus the game is normally boring vs Fulham. Always have fond memories of my visits to West Ham away. Always a good trip :D
1 November 2010 at 6:20 pm #49921First time you have been?! Thought you were a superfan?! :) ..Never once claimed that, far from it.
It was certain people who didn’t agree with me who can’t make a decent argument who gave me that label. It didn’t make sense then and it doesn’t now.

Apologies then Griff. Why was it your first trip to Fulham may I ask? x
1 November 2010 at 7:04 pm #49925Apologies then Griff. Why was it your first trip to Fulham may I ask? xNo particular reason. I know a couple of times we have played them away in the Premier have been midweek and as I have worked abroad during the week up until this season, I couldn’t get there.
Other than that, no particular reason why I never went in the olden days.

Probably because it’s a boring game? Being abroad is no reason to not go! The Superfans will not be happy
