Or are you suggesting we should have half as much possession and much less shots and then we’d win?
I wonder how Sir Alex is feeling about his young player not getting any pitch time ! If I were him I would be recalling him and shipping him off to a club that will give him the match experience he supposedly needs !

I know we have a massive problem at the back and that has been RM’s mantra all season ” we must learn from these mistakes ! ” We don’t and therefore questions must be asked re defensive coaches etc but back to the Utd protégé, if we created that many chances and didn’t manage to find the net once then surely this lad must be given more chances to prove himself because Koné appears to be hit and miss and Di Santo…Well you can put in your own punchline for him !

But you have more chance of scoring if you have the ball and you have more chance of scoring the more shots you take.
Martinez is never going to have us playing kick and rush, so we’ll always have the lion’s share of possession.
Yes, the important thing is what you do with the ball, but you can ‘do’ anything with it if you haven’t got it – which is something the ‘stop passing sideways, get it hit up-field’ brainboxes who sit near me can’t seem to grasp.
