Just got back……15 mins ok 75+ dreadful. Definitely packed for hols….nearly had speedos pulled down. Would have lost under Lowe so credit for digging in but come on!!!…..2nd half they couldn’t win a challenge in the middle, 2nd to every ball Hungbo never 1 opportunity to stretch them as we couldn’t get possession and Taylor zero service. Instantly forgettable and shows what another huge summer recruitment task we have…compounded by our investment/ownership issue. Caldwell certainly will have a few sleepless nights come end of season.
It was a very poor performance and we were lucky to hang on at the end except for a couple of top draw saves from Tickle.
Murray got fleeced by there No50 Hernandez so I’m unsure why Brady took him off.
Taylor?, he had a couple of efforts and fired both wide. If he slides it across the goal Wright was waiting for the tap in.
That’s the part of his game he needs to sort if he’s to progress and eventually play with the big boys
Team play
Not every touch in the box requires him to shoot a quick heads up he sees Wright.
A sad moment for Trevitt, he instantly put his head in his hands knowing something was back.
That’s the last we’ve seen of him.
Nearly 1500 Latics fans for a non entity game was brilliant
