There has been a substantial number of enquiries since the announcement of the extra tickets last week, the day trip flight to Maribor is now fully booked with 187 Latics fans travelling, there are also over 30 people on a waiting list hoping we can change the plane for a bigger one, at this stage we don’t know if that is possible.
Originally we were told by Maribor Airport that they could not handle another outbound flight other than the WAFC official players one and ours because the Airport closes at 7:00 on the evening of the game, now like the tickets they have changed their mind and offered us another slot.
A second flight may be an easier option than stepping up in size for a single aircraft, so now that there is unlikely to be a shortage of tickets some fans who hesitating until news of further tickets became clearer may now want to make the trip.
If anyone is interested could you please get in touch with Mark or Jackie at sport options on 02079356129 to let them know, there is no commitment needed straight away they just want to gauge if there are grounds for putting on this second aircraft.
