Strongest team possible, they don’t do fitness work at this time of the season in training , it’s all ball control, their shouldn’t be a problem playing twice a week so just slight tweeks here and there and strongest team possible, promotion is a must and 3 points on Saturday essential.
On paper we had our strongest team out against Blackpool.
For various reasons, be it tiredness or focus on the city game, it was a missed opportunity to shake things up. I wouldn’t be making any unneeded changes at the back, but midfield onwards, anything goes.
Colclough, Fulton, Walker and Vaughan must all be close to starting.
I think we may even see Roberts and Perkins keeping their places too but who knows just as long as we win. Sometimes we just have to make changes and re-charge batteries and with two games a week after a long winter we will probably see more of this. Didn’t hurt us on Monday much did it without Jacobs, James, Morsy and Powell (for a huge chunk) and I am one for keeping a settled side. C.O.Y.L.
Rochdale worked their socks off Sunday against spurs. They also played wed against MK dons. Hopefully they will have one eye on the replay at wembley in the week.
