;)
16 February 2010 at 5:23 pm #22850It might be only Tuesday but this has got bloody rubbish wigan written all over it
16 February 2010 at 5:31 pm #22851Be careful, if it’s Thursday morning they might have you sweeping up all the shyte from Wednesday night.
Like Kevin Davies and Ricardo Gardner, for example
16 February 2010 at 6:25 pm #22853Scoffy, you’ll have to update us when you’ve had it and let us know if they include any of the following:
The War Chest Room. Does it indeed have a long forgotten combination lock?
Roberto’s tactics board. Please take a photo, some don’t believe it exists.
The Claude Rains chair, which is only used for press conferences and renders the newly appointed manager invisible.
Brenda’s Office. See if you can get a peek at her diary, and please tell us what it says after ’09.00, make tea’.
Whelan’s Asset Stripper.
The Underground Laboratory where Whelan hatches all his evil plans.
I’m sure there are many more, but I can’t be bothered thinking of them.
(Note: the above do not fully reflect the views of the author. )
16 February 2010 at 6:28 pm #22854“Whelans Stripper” and “Peeking at Brenda’s dairy” should not appear that close together this close to lunch-time.
Oh, it says diary. Well, that’s a bit more palatable, I suppose

Christ Griff, don’t be giving Hayton ideas, when he looks on here. ;)
Cue the announcement on Wednesday of a new fan option to take a “Day in The Life Of An Apprentice” tour. They’ll have you sweeping the dressing rooms, cleaning Kevin Davies’ ‘skids’ off the enamel (Brush missing “Just use a paper towel”), and peeling lots of snot, grass, mud, and the odd bit of blood, off the dressing room floors.
Package includes a hot drink (made from last nights left overs), a CD of Malcolm Lord jokes, and a team-sheet, scented by linament.
All this for £15 per person. ( £18 pp if in a group of 6 or more)

Brenda: ‘Cup of tea anyone? Milk’
Several Journos in unison: ‘No!”
16 February 2010 at 7:35 pm #22859:evil:  So going back to my original question has anybody heard anything
16 February 2010 at 7:55 pm #22860Nope.
Sorry.
17 February 2010 at 1:56 am #22870I decided to treat the kids with this (free) tour. Hadn’t heard anything so emailed the club this morning. I’ve had a time confirmed, but got the impression they were only just putting the timetable together. Reckon they’ll email everyone tomorrow.
17 February 2010 at 1:28 pm #22880No offence or anything, but I can’t imagine there’s a lot to see. Ok, the dressing rooms might be interesting, and the Media studio areas.
But in fairness, it’s not like it’s Old Trafford or Anfield, is it? Both of them have museums and trophy rooms, and they are both big, big, stadiums. (United’s North stand holds 25,000 alone)
Nice idea from the club though. Especially with it being school holidays. Can’t knock them for it. I recall back in about 1988, when they had the open day at Springfield. It was brilliant, got all the autographs, and I was in a group picture with Mathias, Cribley, Tunks, etc, in the Observer. (Or Lancs Evening Post)
You can definitely see the club is making more of an effort. This flag idea, is also very good. (for the kiddies)
