Got the strength of a rice pudding.

At least we’re still in the transfer window so if Ramis is out for the season can hopefully get a short term deal done.

His mistake Almost cost that hard won point yesterday and this will continue if the club continues with the ‘make do and mend policy’.
Ramis injury is a bitter blow and it’s ironic that the players the club paid cash out for last summer are not available at the moment.
They need to get some business done a s ap to shore up the weakness of that defence.

for the sake of consistency, and if you were at the game (I was) you’ll find Ramis (Wigan’s own Usain B) was done yet again (for pace /trickery) in the pen area in 2nd half and got away with it thanks to his defence.

        Stam’s ‘error’ no worse.

Figueroa’s clearance fantastic; probably his most significant contribution this season (points impact).

And very much in keeping with what’s required from ALL 11 from now on in – commitment to the cause etc.

Though it was great clearance from Figs I was sat left at side of goal at Putney end and it wasn’t going in but would have gone wide of post anyway. I know on TV it looked different but believe me it wouldn’t have gone in. Good performance yesterday. Maloneys commitment and workrate an example to all.

Got to say i think that Ramis is a good defender and has done well for us this season. Our defence will be weaker without him.

Ronnie stam on the otherhand is awful hopefully he will be gone in the summer never to be seen again!

As Vince has said, he was one of our better players in the first half. The joke I was making was as you didn’t see this as being the case, you must have only been watching the second half when he wasn’t on the pitch. It’s not as funny when you explain it :cheer:

For what it’s worth, over the games that I have seen him, I think he’d make a much better winger than wing back, as his attacking play seems to be so much better than his defensive ones. I await to get abuse for that opinion…

Sorry fella the game must have numbed the brain. No abuse from me on that one I agree he is better at attaking than defending but that’s because he’s so bloody bad at defending.

Jesus thought I was the only one who thought he had a better game than normal
