the problem is your, or indeed any martinez supporters, arguements have no basis whatsoever -a win at wolves the worse side in this league bar us,that was nearly thrown away,and a flook of a result against a reserve team put out by a man whose own arrogance and lack of respect has cost his team points against us for the past 2 seasons,do not paper over the cracks that are there for everyone to see.
well said couldnt agree more, once again there goal came from there corner and because we had no one out of our box came straight back at us, martinez is so negative :x

No early dart for me. As usual I applauded the team off, walked to my car, sat in a slight queue to get off the car park, and then drove home.
On the journey home I listened to a my Ipod, with my only thought being whether or not to call the Mrs and ask if she wanted a take-away picking up, or if we should wait until the kids are in bed.So, in response, please point out where I have defended Martinez and today’s performance?
Clearly if we don’t vent our fury on the board about how poor the display was, how Martinez should be sacked, how every player is useless, and how we are all doomed, we know nothing about football, love everything about Martinez, and cannot recognise a bad performance.
Take note of how few positive posts appear on the board for ‘Martinez Lovers’ following a win, compared to pessimistic posts from the recognised Dark Side following a defeat.

you have responded to 5 posts -attempting to ridicule or contradict someone who has made an anti martinez post since the game finished at about 17.50 pm -that is the usual response from all of the martinez supporters on here when no constuctive support of martinez is available to you.
in fact the people who support martinez are the real “dark side” because we should all be standing united and telling david whelan that we want rid of this man who is dragging this club of ours back to the championship with his poor signings,boring football,negative tactics and distinct lack of coaching ability or motivational skills.
Was you working away again in December LMB due to the lack of posts in that period ?
LMB you are correct today was woeful. However, to suggest Martinez is as bad as you say doesn’t stand up to scrutiny. We have the lowest attendances in the league with the least money to spend. We remain as we post outside the relegation places which is no mean feat with the resources available. Everton, Wolves and Arsenal were decent performances and to suggest otherwise is unfair.
Today was terrible but lets take a more balanced view rather than jumping in when the team performs badly. Over the season so far the team has performed badly for me on only four occasions. Blackpool, Fulham, West ham and today. Lets hope for a response on Wednesday!
Given the hysterical and suicidal tendencies our dark side friends adopt when we lose, I can only assume they have, in contrast, spent the aftermath of the last couple of results w@nk!ng themselves into oblivion and have been unable to type.
Admirable as it is, I don’t know why you bother to rise to them as you do. My NYR is to let if go. If it makes people happy to be miserable, let them get on with it.

It’s not so much a rise Griff, more an involuntary reaction to hysterical, ridiculous posts. We all saw how poor it was today, but suddenly players who have played well most of the season are not up to standard, and players are vilified before they are able to put a foot wrong on the pitch or prove their worth.
So, LMB, defending Martinez – no. Ridicule – yes I hold my hands up (aimed at two particular posters who are not backwards in coming forwards with ridicule themselves)

I’m sure Martinez walks down the tunnel after a result like that and thinks ‘You know, I think we did alright. I bet the fans are happy with that.’
Or maybe he thinks ‘What a bunch of uneducated, insular, undeserving prycks. I’m sure it wasn’t like this when I played here. Even Swansea seems like cosmopolitan central compared to this place.’
