Strong team, does that mean the Rochdale game is off with a waterlogged pitch on Tuesday nudge nudge wink wink.
Beware of that short arse Chicharito up front.27 January 2018 at 10:16 pm #165543Strong team, does that mean the Rochdale game is off with a waterlogged pitch on Tuesday nudge nudge wink wink.
Beware of that short arse Chicharito up front. On that performance he is one of the worst players I’ve seen at the DW for years. Only looked interested when the ball was passed to him and he couldn’t for shame ignore it. There wasn’t one player on that West ham team I’d swap with one of ours.
Also, Nathan Byrne must be the most improved player we’ve ever had, absolutely got everything in his locker. Nick Powell strutted round looking like Eric Cantona hope no other league managers were in the stadium. Southgate was there, I suppose watching Hart. From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!27 January 2018 at 10:28 pm #165545This team is getting better and better the only thing that can stop us is this window. Thought the penalty decision was harsh but we have had our share of them going against us. It will take a good side to beat our lads. Great performance great result and Rovers only drew.
27 January 2018 at 10:48 pm #165550And we keep making history. Only our second time in round five other than 2013 and 2014.
Amazing our club.
Round six or the semis is within our reach with a kind draw.27 January 2018 at 11:15 pm #165551And we keep making history. Only our second time in round five other than 2013 and 2014.

Didn’t forget, 87, 13 and 14 and this year is the second time other than 13 and 14.

Pen was nailed on, right in front of me, best we’ve played in ages, hope we can carry this through to league games.

Sorry don misread it this poor Tenerfian beer is fogging up my specs lol
28 January 2018 at 12:04 pm #165575We have had bigger penalty claims turned down.
Linesman under the West stand failed to see quite a number of best hugs on our players too.
Notice how MOTD analysed the penalty but yet didn’t re-visit the offside goal.
This offside rule is getting harder and harder to interpret. Think time as come to scrap the offside rule altogether or seriously re-look at the rule.28 January 2018 at 9:50 pm #165589Have seen the “2nd goal” a few times and it was offside. Grigg got a touch on it which made Dunkley offside – no touch from Grigg and the goal would have stood! I’m the biggest critic of refs and assistants in league 1 but I thought the officials yesterday were ok!
28 January 2018 at 11:33 pm #165598The penalty may have been harsh but the camera was in the West Stand, straight on to the defender. From the East Stand his arm wasn’t so quite tightly in as the telephoto lens from the West made it seem, there was some daylight between the arm and his body, and although the TV image is a bit blurry at the moment of impact he was turning and his arm wasn’t hit by the ball but hit it.
Fine margins, and if it hadn’t been given I would have understood, but I don’t think it’s quite as bad a decision as made out. There was a case for a penalty. -
