I don’t see anyone saying bad manager. Bad decisions from Martinez and the ref…..yes.
I am not quite sure what you expect after a really poor performance. You can’t just lick arse for the sake of it. If they have been bad then just say it. Go on i dare ya :P :P ;)

Last 10 2011/12: Won 7/10 (only 2 defeats both in 90th, Chelsea /Fulham)
(incl. Manure, Arsenal, Lpool, Newcastle, Chelsea)First 6 2012/13: Lost 4/6 (almost 5, .. Al Habsi wonder save vs. Stoke)
With essentially the same personnel (plus ‘reinforcements’).
Not expecting to be TOP 2, but think we all agree we’d have expected to be in a much healthier position (points and performance-wise).
Already last year, better things were expected on the back of 2010/11 survival (N’Zogbia inspired, as someone made the point). Well last year was much more a team effort, and consistent over 3 months.
What’s changed ?? …..
4 people need replacing to make this team much better. I have said it before but i think Boyce, Caldwell and the two macs are very average at what they are supposed to do.

I think these two are the backbone of the team and we struggle (even more than usual) when either isn’t in the team.

a lot of supporters are to happy with themselves prior to the season predicting top ten finishes and the like we will not have anything to worry about this season was another doing the rounds as well ,the tree who came up will finish below us plus second season syndrom from the previous promoted teams.
I personnelly think we have not played to bad the first few matches with out getting tonked as was usually the case apart from OT we are creating more chances than this time last year and are more attacking than this time last year the defence as in this time last year as not settled with addition of Ramis plus Alcaraz missing games has not helped but given time will do
Today’s game could of seen wigan up a goal or two up to half time ,Gomez sending off obviously and them scoring three minutes later whilst still adjusting to ten men didn’t help and from then on it was up hill
I will reserve judgement has I always do look at the bigger picture then smile and have a quiet chuckle to myself whilst watching others self destruct after every defeat

What I don’t understand is, as yicktick says, is how we ended up with the same line-up as against Fulham despite remarks by Bob after both the Fulham and West Ham games that “fringe” players would get their chance this week.
Boselli not getting a start today really really surprised me. Boselli not even coming on as a sub ahead of Di Santo confused me. Boselli not even making it onto to the pitch left me speechless.

From were I was sitting Gomez looked our most dangerous midfielder going forward. Jimmy Thy can’t pass water, great energy closed people down but decision making….fekin shyte. Jimmy thur had his worst game for us since joining from Hamilton, something not reet there, maybe still has back problems. Overall thought we played well and deserved at least a point. Can’t believe the Sunderland fans left the ground in their droves with 10 mins to go on the clock and game still in the balance.

The week link is midfield for me. No competition for places.
Saying all this we didnt do bad until the red card. No surprise with Martinez charge with the FA
Never been so frustrated! We are repeating last year all over again!! Martinez does not know what his best 11 is, WHAT DOES HE SEE IN GOMEZ?!?!?! Yday he gave the ball away with crap passes he was caught in posession then gets sent off. You are only as good as your weakest man and at the moment we are shite with gomez in it! Already been said but what happened to tuesday night and “players getting there chance” boselli should have been starting with kone and ryo as the attacking option. And to not even bring him on and choose di santo i just cant understand. The only thing i can think of to prove we are a good side is to win 9 points without the that arsehole in the team. I honestly like to see the best in our players but he is a liability. When we was 3-1 up against west ham that was perfect to bring gomez on and slow the game down and it worked. Besides from that leave him on the bench. We can be such a good side if the right players start the game. Sorry to go on but we are so much better than this!!
the team played well in midweek, all be it against a second string west ham team, why not start boselli, the lads chomping at the bit, he even asked to play for the u 21s last week, giving him and miyachi the last ten minutes is bollocks. listened to the last 20 mins on wish in the car, the comentater and rimmer were going mad at webb, looks like were up against it with the officials after bobs comments at utd, fcuk um, frustrated AGAIN ! :angry:
