I know you can’t always judge a player by his youtube clips [Agahowa springs to mind], but this mon looks the biz. He looks far to good for the BMG he was playing in, making some great runs forward and not getting picked out.
Great tackler, jumps like a gazelle [heads the ball miles] and can play a bit of football from the back. I can see why Bobby rates him.
Good to see him bollucking his team mates when they lose the ball, with him and Caldwell at the back we may now start to see some clean sheets. Lets hope I’m not hit with the “foot in mouth” virus!

What a journey!14 January 2010 at 12:55 am #18213Just to clarify that last post before I get red flagged. When watching youtube I also had ESPN Classics ont telly and they were showing this:-
Manchester United 2-1 Arsenal, Villa Park, 1999
Ryan Giggs’s mazy, magical wonder goal provided what was almost the iconic moment of the treble winning season, beating most of the Arsenal side in the last ever semi-final replay to send Sir Alex Ferguson’s side to the final. From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!14 January 2010 at 2:23 am #18238He looks bloody good from this montage. He reminds me of a young Sol Campbell.
14 January 2010 at 12:28 pm #18255Hope he is as good as he looks but I reckon you could edit some clips of John Robertson’s career and make him look like a good un
14 January 2010 at 1:39 pm #18257I doubt that very much!!
14 January 2010 at 2:26 pm #18262remember souness watch some clips of a player on a tape and signed him, then it turned out he was the local road sweeper ;)
14 January 2010 at 3:06 pm #18265I don’t think we have signed him on the strength of some video clips. ……………………….but you never know. ;)
14 January 2010 at 5:30 pm #18298I was fairly impressed with that
the going forward would concern me a bit

fingers crossed15 January 2010 at 12:05 am #18321Ye been watchin a few clips of him aswell lately. I think its something we need. He is enthusiastic really looks comfortable on the ball or under pressure and can also help attacking. He got a gr8 header and is commited to tackles and challenging for the ball however it may be. I personally think its a gr8 find by Martinez he looks physically and mentally strong. I can see him having no problem fitting in to the squad. So let’s hope he does well for the Latics.
