Talking to some Burnley fans today about Cardwell, they said he could not get into their first team and when they did see him play, they said he was one of the worst defenders they had seen. Its all turning to rat s!”t!!!!! He starts tonight no 13.

Come on Dave sort it out!!!!!He gave the ball away cheap before, nearly cost us the lead. Although, he has scored.
I realise hartlepool are no world beaters but the guy has helped us to keep a clean sheet.
The guys on WISH FM commented several times about his no nonsense approach. Get the tackle in and get rid. How the fek people can have a go at him before he’s broke sweat his beyond me. :roll:

I don’t think he struggled too hard to get into the Burnley team considering he hardly missed a game for them in three years and was club captain.
He might not be a world beater, but he’s experienced and more to the point, cheap.
