Some folk come on here now happy when we lose, some happy when we win, some never happy, some always happy. I would suggest we temper our thoughts a little with a dose of composite reality instead of ranting on about our little club.
Ask yourself this – do you want to have £60 million in the bank but have less than £5k? So you go on the FT website ranting and demanding change?
Do you want to be married to Kiera Knightley with Cheryl Cole as a bit on the side? So you rant on to the mrs Facebook page about how you want it to happen?
Do you want a job that enables you to live in an eight bed mansion with pool, with Ferrari and Porsche in the garage but live in a three bed semi and drive a ford focus? So you go on Total jobs website ranting about how it’s not going to happen?
Do you want Wigan athletic to finish second in the premier league, signing £15m players, getting to the quarter finals of the champions league, But you actually support your home town club regardless of what the future holds? So you go on a fans website ranting about it.
In all of the above, I bet you only do the last one despite wanting all four. Get a little reality in your heads. We are Wigan fans. Not Man Utd fans from dartford /Oslo / Hong Kong. They are trying, failing at times I agree, but still trying. If you considered everything else in your life as you consider Wigan athletic you would have a breakdown. It could always be worse. So what we drew with Southampton? Could be worse, could be better. Ranting ain’t gonna change it. It’s becoming an obsession for some.

Yeah, this warranted a thread.
