Now it looks like the Ruben deal is off who do you think we will sign if any before deadline day? Maybe JR, Aduriz or Beattie?
I don’t think any of them will sign for us, i’m expecting someone like Matty Fryatt from Leicester but would much prefer to see Beattie in a latics shirt.
Beattie fits the criteria of a long ball team.
I’d prefer Benjani (looks unlikely now big head wants him), Benni McCarthy (also not going to happen), Marco Ruben (will he, wont he?), JR (would love to see him back) or even Drew Broughton would be a better alternative to Scotland!!
I said it in the summer and I’ll say it again, we should have got Tuncay as soon as Boro went down. Would have been perfect for Bobby’s style of play, probably best playing just behind Hugo. £5 million would have been a steal.
