4 April 2010 at 12:40 am #28506Not a bad article. Specifically liked the part where he mentioned the play off final and how shops and bakerys had “come on gillingham” in their windows.
Maybe make some people (mainly the media) realise the struggle we have to attract support.
Chippy on Gidlow Lane was the one I saw  Bet Mutty is a regular
4 April 2010 at 12:42 am #28507I agree with ya on that mon.I THINK THE CHUBBIE ONE is lost these days.the nob jockey wants the electric bob cap ;) ;) ;)
4 April 2010 at 6:43 am #28515why don’t the powers that be just bite the bullet and sack the boring t.t off?
4 April 2010 at 8:28 am #28517a w,ank Staines fan who supports sunderland? yet you still give him the time of day?. do the other latics sites give gimps like this a soap box? no they don’t! think about it?
4 April 2010 at 12:32 pm #28519Well done Stuart a lot of what was said reflected my own experiences of early Latics.
4 April 2010 at 1:02 pm #28520why don’t the powers that be just bite the bullet and sack the boring t.t off?Probably because I abide by the rules of the site. I dont come on here calling people paedophiles, and I dont make racist or homophobic comments. I respond to points that I consider inaccurate and I defend my town’s team. I may be in a minority but minorities are entitled to their viewpoint.
If the owners of the site want to ban free speech and have this site as a rugby-bashing free for all, then they will ban me.
4 April 2010 at 1:49 pm #28522I thought Stuart was good too. He’s not just shown interest recently. That Man City match was as big for him as it was for me.
It’s a shame there can’t be more comments about the up side of having someone reasonably well known saying they support Wigan with pride. So often we complain about not getting publicity and then we do we criticise the detail of what he said. A shame.

4 April 2010 at 9:01 pm #28564Shouldnt you be somewhere other than a message board at this time of day?
Armchair fan.
4 April 2010 at 9:06 pm #28567Hey up Mutty, sure you’ve been rumbled posting on here not long after WW have played an away game.
And shouldn’t you be strapping some more bombs to planes so more innocent kids can go and be murdered ? ;)
4 April 2010 at 9:32 pm #28578If I was an armourer and I was in Afghanistan, then maybe. But I’m not and I’m not, so I’ll pass on that one.
Thanks for your lack of support for those who are though – perhaps you may wish to consider protesting against us killing “innocent children” out in Helmand province rather than from the safety of your keyboard.

A minority of people are always considered boring, and you are the boringest (if thats a word), putting you in a ‘Minority of one’ in the boring stakes. Boring. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz…zzzz..zzzz…zzz…..zz
5 April 2010 at 12:40 am #28610Well, thats me and the editor of the Wigan Athletic Vital Football site who both thought that.I cant post the link, but the editorial says:
“The mists of time though have clouded Stuarts memory slightly as he recalls he was at the JJB when we gained promotion to the Premiership with victory over Ipswich Town, we did beat the Tractor Boys that season at home but I`m sure it was victory over Reading that sealed our fate.”
The Easter Weekend just keeps getting better – a thumping of Spurs today. Wonder what will happen over the next two days to make it a perfect 4?
…and mudhuts seem to think he got it wrong too.
