Has Bobby not realised yet that every team we we play, now know exactly what tactics we are going to use and respond accordingly in a manner that styfle those tactics.
All a team needs to do to stop us playing is to hound anybody with the ball, stick as close as they can and prevent or disturb any flowing passing movements………….and thats it Bobs your Uncle Martinez….Job done……We have no plan B….never have had…..so we run around all day trying to play this continental style football but get nowhere cos every team and his dog know exactly how to counter it………
We caught Aston Villa off guard cos it was the first game of the season……..and we beat Chelski and drew with Shitty cos they thought they could beat us at our own game and gave us space on the ball……..but everyone else just closed us down and it was game over almost.
Bring back the Jeweller i say….He kept us in the Prem with a Championship side and a few has beens….Given the team we have now i recon we would be at least as high up as Everton………..
And then he took Derby down, and was subsequently sacked by them when their poor form continued into the Championship.
Biggest complimnet we can be paid that. Teams changing their style because they are scared of what could happen when we get it right.
We are so so close or really getting there, to being the finished article. Or should I say where we want to be for this season.
Martinez has been addressing issues. The defence is tightening up. The chances are coming. They just need to be finished. It will happen. i’m staying positive.I know its getting late in the season and games are running out but we are close to getting it right.
