Is it just me that thinks that World Cup Cheat Suarez’s punishment isn’t the least bit harsh and will have very little impact on him?
So he misses 8 games, sits on his ar5e over winter, still gets paid and only has to dish out half his weekly wage as a fine. Surely a much much bigger fine would be more appropriate?Don’t worry it may not “hurt” Suarez himself , but it will certainly hurt Liverpool.
He is by far their best player , so 8 weeks without him will be massive.
Which is nice. :P

Surely a much much bigger fine would be more appropriate?I’ve always thought that if a professional footballer is fined for any reason it should be a percentage of his yearly salary say 25% so the likes of Rooney on 200 grand a week for example would lose a quater of his contract something like £2 mill
And anybody injured should be sick pay £60 a week
