Does anyone else think that watching Latics is like watching / playing subbuteo ?

The lack of movement off the ball, and need for ball to go to feet reminiscent of a childhood Christmas playing in a bloody cold porch.

Just as well Ali al-habsi has the flexibility of the man on the stick in the original game.

Been listening to Radio 5 Live?

Because that was exactly their comment about City v Wolves – the ball pinging around everywhere.

I always think Kirkland is like the goalie on a stick as he can only come so far off his line

If Kirkland was a Subbuteo goalie, he’d be glued together.

No, i think it’s more like watching a game of chess. The sideways moves, the slow build up…..yawn.
