Surely our young stars will not be dazzled by the bright lights of Barnsley !!!
That would be putting the knife in and twisting it !!!
If Rooney can go from Everton to Utd I can’t see why Joseph can’t move to Barnsley.
Its all about (in his case) money. If he decides to stop we will receive compensation in the summer. If he leaves now we’ll get 30 Bob and a bag of planters.
On this occasion he should look hard in the mirror and say to himself, I owe Latics at least 6 months. They need me as much as I needed them.
I’m sure if he carries on progressing and manages to help us stop up he’ll feel good in himself in the knowledge he didn’t jump ship when we needed him the most.
And,
Like I said, if he progresses then far bigger clubs will come knocking I’m certain of that
Barnsley?, ffs hardly Madrid is itI don’t think for one minute he would actually choose to go to Barnsley.Like others have said he might end up there due to circumstances beyond his control.But would Barnsley want a player who does not actually want to be there?
