To celebrate tonight I bought a Spanish Rioja.

This week I have another little knowm Italian grape, Aglianico, that I will be road testing if we win at Crewe. Sounds like his team mate !
So can this delicate wine wash down a pie barm or does it best complement an olive & Parmesan pate on a bed of basil & rocket?

Well tonight, it was plan B: a nice Negroamaro from Puglia ! It feels better, just being out of the bottom four !

Thats what i was thinking, the Spanish bid seems to be taking its time getting over the line, that said, haven’t they paid all the debts off already?
