The chosen one speaks again
5 December 2010 at 3:11 pm #52599The chosen one speaks againWether you like Bob or not you have to admit he talk’s utter shoite, he always rolls out excuses we have been unlucky we don’t get what our performances deserve.
I have a thought Bob (1) may be your team formation and tactics don’t work with the players we have (2) we are were we are because under you we don’t score goals and we can’t keep clean sheets (3) your reluctance in 18 months to try anything different.
If we are to have any hope of stopping up games like yesterday we have to win.
8 December 2010 at 1:19 am #52773Since he took over Wigan Athletic have become a laughing stock. Under Bruce, Huchings and Jewell we had everyone on our side (excluding the media, ‘the odds’ and the Taliban.)

Yes, the rest of the world see Martinez as the anti-Christ, and everyone hates Wigan since he took over.

8 December 2010 at 9:39 pm #52833Careful SW, Mighty_Aff has you in his sights now, your posts are all that he is watching out for.
He was on my case once until – BAM! – I posted something seemingly wrong/daft/proving my total idiocy/unremarkable (delete as appropriate), only for it to be printed off (apparently) and taken in to work to show his boss.

Ha ha – the boards self appointed voice of reason puts me back in my place once more. I dont have the vocabulary or wit to go toe to toe with such an esteemed, published literary icon.
I shall withdraw from this post, tale between legs, knowing that i have had a cyber shoeing from someone who has a 14 year old cartoon boy as his avatar.

Bloody hell Willy Wombat you’re scraping the barrel a bit using victories in pre-season friendlies, an FA Cup game in which it was reserve side v reserve side against a team who eventually got relegated, a victory away at a team who got relegated & who were well on top until their keeper got injured & an away victory against relegation rivals (I’m assuming you’re referring to the 2-0 away victory at Wolves rather than the 2-0 home victory against the 10 men of the same club)
So in my books victories in isolated games against Villa (who we had only lost against once previously), Chelsea (who wound up with 9 men), Liverpool & Arsenal (where we were dire for 80 minutes) don’t really make up for the kickings highlighted in the original post from Sephton1 or the dreary rubbish we’ve been served in the majority of the other games under Bobby – although i would take out the defeat away at City (where we looked pretty decent untl we went down to 10 men) from his list
9 December 2010 at 6:29 pm #52910Mighty, oh dear, oh dear… That 14 year old cartoon boy and me share the same name, that is the only reason I have it.
You also need to look up self-appointed, as you are the only who calls me that.
Bang on about not having the wit though, or so it would appear. You need to lighten up and recognise when someone is pulling your chain, mate

What a great response, clearly demonstrating that your comment regarding wit was tongue in cheek.

Thanks. Does that clearly demonstrate sarcasm?
