Great news, but why did it take so long.
The new owners are least visible this time, time will tell if it was a good move or not

That Mal Brannigan was at the game on Saturday along with someone believed to be one of the owners clan. So they have even been to the stadium too.
Looks good for the future if their announcement is to be believed

I am so relieved, just to get the leaches out of the club is a big thing. If the Bahrain lot take us to places too, then even better.

Away a lot, but always watching

Now we have the club back, is everyone in agreement with me that the first thing our new owners should do is re-employ every single member of staff who lost their jobs? And especially, bring back Jonathan Jackson.

Bring back Jonathon Jackson in what role ? I know he is Latics through and through but this new regime have their own team in place.I can’t see him accepting a lesser position.I do agree that other members of staff who lost their jobs should be given priority when they start recruiting.

It’s great news and I agree 100% they should look to reinstate the old staff so callously treated.
We may have to start at the bottom of the Football
League next season but at least we have a club to support and look how well Bolton are doing now.
As Paul Cook used to say “small steps” which is another word for patience and that is what we all need going forward, no place for Jonny come latelys that’s for sure!
More importantly is the way the club is run in the future will be vital to avoid this ever happening again.
Keep the excellent youth policy going which is obviously a big feature of our club now given our excellent position between the two major football cities of Liverpool and Manchester.
Youth recruitment is global now and it’s been obvious for a few years now we are well placed geographically to pick up the drop off talent.
Use the ground for anything and everything to bring in revenue and get the local kids interested and involved in the club like Dave Whelan did so successfully when he came in back in 1995.
Spruce up the concourses and facilities and get people into the ground early , again extra revenue to help the club.
As I said we all need patience and so do the owners as there will be no quick way back the championship without a proper long term plan.
Hopefully we can stay in league 1 and I have every faith they will do ,just .

Not sure if anyone has picked up on this, but I read an updated statement from our new chairman that someone shared to Facebook. In it he mentions that the 1st goal is to get back to the championship but that they require our support & patience in doing so. And they are in it for the long haul.

I read that as someone who will spend money, but at the same time understands that success requires time & doesn’t happen overnight.

I for one was never convinced by choi from day 1. But I’m in love with this guy from the off. I’ve a good feeling :yahoo:

Haha! I seriously have a good feeling about this takeover which I never felt upon the takeover by IEC. Always had my doubts.

I think the feeling all round the club is visible.

We now need the team to feel it and get those 12 to 15 points we desperately need so getting back to the Championship takes a couple of years less.

FA Cup Winners 2013, sounds good that
