They got it wrong yet again…

We were driving back from our Sunday outing to York listening to the draw at 4pm…

So arrogant they were talking about the power semi Arsenal v Man C…going on and on about it. The Mrs said, lets show em..

    And we did!

Will the media ever give us respect?….

I heard Talk sport on Saturday, it sounded like Alan Smith but he isn’t on Talk Sport, it wasn’t Ray Parlour, saying Arsenal will not want to get Man City in the semi final draw tomorrow.

But, once you win one trophy, more follow. One of the best things about the League Cup final is that it is played in March and, if you win it, it does not half push you on.

How many trophies can City win this season? Well, we are not talking about four anymore because the Champions League is gone – they are not going to turn around their tie against Barcelona.

One more trophy is definitely possible, although I think City’s problem is that, because of the rigours of trying to win the Premier League, they will be on their knees by the end of the season.

Once you win one trophy, more follow.

You may be right there, Mark!

And Rosler says that Wigan have played 52 games already this season, more than any other English club.

And they have got a lot more to play.

BBC Sport Premier League: Garth Crooks’s Team of the Week

It was a weekend with an FA Cup giant killing as Wigan beat Manchester City

Yes, it is a Premier League team, but Rosenior and Arteta found a place for their cup performances.

There was no place – or even a mention – for a Wigan player in an otherwise unremarkable weekend.
