How proud I am of all the sports performers in all the different sports both major and minority in the Team GB squad who have stood so proudly receiving their medals and of the shear effort and determination of all the sports people in the GB squad irrespective of winning medals or not. The personal stories have also been so moving.
Big question is regarding the sport we all love and especially after the pathetic performance of our multi millionaire England football side in the Euros. Where was the GB football side. Have we not got between our four great countries a squad that could have at least taken part? If not, why not?

True or not I heard England wanted to do a combined team but the other home nation’s didn’t saying they might call for one team from all the home nations in future tournament’s, ie no more England Scotland Wales and NI,regarding Team GB they put our footballers to shame with their over the top ego’s, true grit and determination and skill and many of them have that in abundance what a hockey goalkeeper we have can we buy her.

The england football team should take note of team GB, especially how they go through so much blood, sweat, tears & desire just to win a medal – & not 100k (or more) per week.

Really felt for the taekwondo guy who missed out on a gold by 1 second. The way he was in tears during his interview. Can you see any of the england team doing that.

Lots of amazing and humbling stories. Some truly inspirational performances that should motivate us all.
Just what the doctor ordered after the Iceland defeat.

Is it just me or is the olympics the sport equivalent of the x-factor

The main difference being the athletes are talented and entertain us and aren’t being judged by a panel of wankers, but by decent presenters who are there to inform us and promote the sports and not their own careers.

X Factor can only be compared to TOWIE Geordie Shore Bake Off Masterchef etc.
              Unreality TV.

Correct, commonly known as ‘Farce Factor’ at Horc towers.
