What do you reckon it will look like. I think Darikwa,Tilt, Johnstone, Keane, Proctor, Lang and our kids have done well. But I its possible the new owners want us back in the Championship ASAP, so may give Leam a bit if dosh to achieve that

If we can keep the majority of this squad then with a few additions we could possibly finish in the play offs but I don’t think the new owners will be spending mega-bucks just yet.
There is a lot of rebuilding to be done off the pitch first which may eat up the budget.

There is a hell of rebuilding to be done with the coaching staff as well so we shouldn’t expect too much next season. The total destruction of Wigan Athletic isnt going to be rectified overnight. It could take a few seasons before we can compete again seriously.

Spot on both Troy & Nuneaton. It will take at least a good couple of seasons to rebuild both on & off the pitch. If it does happen next season then great. But I wouldn’t hold your breath. Even the new owners told us fans to be patient.

All I want more than anything at present is to be able to walk through those turnstiles again come August.

Consolidation in league 1 would be spot on for me next season with the division looking more and more like a 1990s premier league reunion with every year that passes so escaping it at the top end wont be easy.
Getting the crowds back in and also adding new ( and old) supporters to follow the club will be the greatest challenges i think.
We need to keep that fantastic youth policy going and invest in that as we certainly have benefited from being sandwiched between four of the biggest clubs in football with them scanning the world for young players nowadays.
