team of 2012 compared to team of 2005

      most of the team we had in our 1st season in the premier league had been with us since league 1(division 2), ie; mc culloch, baines, bullard, teale et al & provided us with our highest ever finish in the league. was it because this team had more desire, spirit, ambition, less of a fear factor. i watch norwich & swansea this season & they remind me of ourselves all those years ago & they mainly consist of lower league players, yet are performing so much better. is it down to having better players than us, a better team spirit, or a better manager – or all 3??

        Now my memory maybe clouded but I think that was basically our team in the 1st year, based on yesetrdays team, how many have we improved.

        I reckon only Habsi & Moses for Pollit & Teale

        Now thats progress !!

          That was a good team. This one arpart from maybe 1 or 2 is completley inept…. Sad time to be a latics fan.
