Like it or not but our manager has said that the Warriors comeback inspired us to comeback and win on Sunday ! Three big trophies won by a little town like Wigan and it’s respective professional sporting sides surely is not to be sniffed at !
8 October 2013 at 7:43 pm #122048Coyle acknowledged his team were feeling the effects of a European hangover
That’s one hell of a Hangover…
That was over 2 weeks ago :huh:8 October 2013 at 7:50 pm #122049well bronx we did play a europa league match against maribor thursday just gone ;)
10 October 2013 at 4:36 pm #122109Coyle stated when he took over that he’s a big fan of the sport and will try to get to some games when he can.
Scott Carson is a supposed life long Wigan fan and a friend of his plays for Whitehaven.
Joey Barton regularly comments on the televised matches.
Rio Ferdinand tweeted good luck to the Wigan players before they beat Leeds and then tweeted about being Champions. He has been to Wigan games with Wayne Rooney (supposedly a Leeds fan), Ryan Giggs (life long Wigan fan), Gary Neville and Roy Keane.
Ryan Giggs was interviewed at half time during the state of origin decider in Australia and the whole Utd squad watched the game live.
Football fans may hate the sport, but most players love it.
10 October 2013 at 6:30 pm #122114What a shame that all the Warriors players ( and their coach ) all seem to support United or City then like the proud Wiganers that they are

Most footballers love golf as well, which says a lot about using them to legitimise your argument, many of them also like dogging, shagging grannies and group sex which all come further up the scale of acceptable pastimes before golf.
13 October 2013 at 4:06 am #122169Coyle should concentrate on Latics and nost the parasite cuckoos.
He should also prepare himself for when we welcome Rangers and their fans for hospitality on their soon to come European tour.
Thats if he is still here in a couple of years time.
Owen lad WATP.

Wasn’t really an argument. More a statement that it is loved by footballers.
