Yes – it was a poor result today, and no, promotion is not guaranteed.
But if you asked me to lay a bet at the moment I know what bet I’d put down.
Those “rubbing rags” are fighting for their lives – remember the days in teh PL when that was the big clubs’ attitude about us. Remember how it felt. I’d rather that we lost today than Tuesday.
We’ll bounce back, but if the only thing you have to say is major criticism after a 20+ unbeaten run finally comes to an end then ……
Sorry lad. Yes good position but not making any excuses for our side that have chucked away so many points. This promotion could and should have been and would have been won simply by not throwing away points like we have done. Yes it probably still will be but it isn’t yet!!
Looking at the results recently, it appears to an outsider that some of those clubs in and around the top 6 actually don’t want automatic promotion. Most of the last 8 seasons have seen 90 points and beyond needed for automatic promotion.
Great win for Sunderland today. Hold their nerve and they stay up. SAFC have probably got the or one of the best managers in the game close rival to his just as ugly rival at Burnley. Probably just tipped by the Leicester boss whose job was probably made easier by the best manager not in the game Pearson.
As disappointing as that result was it just might be the reality check we need? There was bound to be dropped points before end of season so let’s hope we get back on track Tuesday.

As for dropped points, everyone drops points we’ve just dropped less than the rest.
Credit to Doncaster they were better from the first whistle some of are fans are tossers tho the abuse we got because they thought after the game we were Donny fans Tossers.
