What a surprise on BBC Football Focus with Dan Walker, they are going to discuss that tackle by Callum McMannaman, talk about let’s all batter the Wigan player. Why can’t they let this drop?. I bet they don’t include all the trouble caused by the Newcastle supporters before the game, Can someone send the photos that have been circulation this week, showing them invading the pitches and tearing down nets.

Don’t know why they vilify us so much. Let’s face it, The league would be boring without us in it. There would be no team to take the piss out of. If we wasn’t here the likes of West Ham couldn’t flop their crowd gathering dicks out and say “we are a bigger club than you”

Picture of the tackle as a back drop. Lawrenson and Keown sat po faced and all self righteous.”It was a bad tackle” “Should have been banned”.Yadda yadda yadda.Move on guys for Christ’s sake.

Really pisses me off. No mention of the Toon supporters disrupting the Sunday League games before the match.

Would the Geordies be bleating so much if they hadn’t got beaten? I don’t think so.

You’d think there had never been a bad tackles before. Yes it was bad,yes he should have got a red and a 3 match ban – It’s not the players or the clubs fault he didn’t. That’s down to the officials and the FA – Blame and crucify them and leave us alone please.

What really pisses me off the most in all this is that while our player is being vilified by all and sundry, the player who committed arguably the worst premeditated tackle of all time is being paid thousands by ITV as a match summariser.

Where is the justice in that?

Oh and the french kid will be back in 3 weeks believe …………….

Last week on MOTD3 – the “lets have a light hearted-look at the weekends events” show from the BBC website – both Lawrenson and Nevin were asked about the bad tackles they had made during their careers. So they reeled off their own stories with Pat Nevin actually admitting to deliberately trying to “do” somebody in a game. This after condemning McManaman for his challenge. Hypocrisy at its finest.

You’d think nobody had ever done a bad tackle before.

Crazy that a kid making his first Premiership start should be absolutely slated to the extent he has been, even AFTER being found ‘not guilty’.

Regarding Football Focus, let’s look at the facts. England won at a canter last night….nothing really to talk about from that game, 8 nil, piece of piss, etc. Apart from McManaman, nothing really has happened all week in football, and theres no Premiership games to take over their focus (no pun intended) today.

I was very disgusted by what the Newcastle fans did to the amateur games near the Soccer Dome. I was further disgusted by Newcastle’s response to Wigan Cosmos FC complaints to them, about their fans disgraceful behaviour, and them replying that they would not reimburse the club for equipment damaged and stolen, including a brand new £65 matchball.

Would it really hurt Mike Ashley, owner of Sports Direct, to really do a positive thing and send a set of new equipment, including new matchballs to the amateur club? Would it hell.

I can honestly say that I detest everything Newcastle United, after the experience of this past week. They’ve been disgraceful from top to bottom, as a club. Actively encouraging the hatred aimed at a 21 year old……shocking.

NUFC have now said they will reimburse them and offered to allow them to play a game at SJP

There were some Newcastle fans in the Brick before the game and they were watching the Sunderland game on the tv, I have never seen such seething hatred being directed at a tv on a wall in my life ! I don’t think they realised that the tv was an inanimate object ! When that game had finished they turned their attentions to disrupting a few of the locals to the point of them being asked to leave ! Bunch of fuckin pricks if you ask me, the lot of em !

Was like that when I was in a pub full of Rangers fans while Celtic were on.
