Well, the cheery people can continue to smile today, the doubters will still no doubt pick holes in the performance. But are great night, great result and just shows what its all about. Liverpool were poor, but we were all over them and picked apart most of their midfield moves.
McCarthey was class, the back four looked settled and Caldwell looks like he can controll them really well. Still had doubts when he went one on one last night but he made some really solid challanges, didnt bottle a thing. The pitch really helped the cause, lets hope they can continue to raise their game for the rest of the season.
Tactically Martinez got it right, his subs all seemed to work and no Gomez, what more do you want :)
