I think it depends on whether we can carry on the momentum from last season. We have the same team that coped so well then, plus we have 4 additions to that squad.
I don’t know how much of a difference Moses leaving would make, though I do think tha he’ll improve loads with another season here – his final ball is still dire. I just wish that a decision can be made so Roberto can plan….
If we start like we finished I can see us finishing as high as 8th or 9th… we would be better than:
Southampton
West Ham
Reading
West Brom
QPR
Norwich
Stoke City
Swansea
Sunderland
Fulham
Aston Villa
Same sentiments as Griff but i think he has set himself on a high pedestal with the signings. It could be an anti-climax or a wonderful season. Moses can go now for me. I wouldn’t even put him in the side now with the signings. Nice 9m and 2m profit on summer transfers is good business. But would still like a right back.

i think we have the potential of finishing above the teams mentioned and this is what we should be aiming for and if we do i would see it as a succesful season and a step in the right direction.
I think we will be relegated, due to losing our best players again, and replacing them with shite, Bobby will leave, and Wigan athletic will never see the premier league again. Should be fun though eh?
I feel quite optimistic, cracking finish last season which we need to run with and the new additions should add some strength and firepower to the squad, 9th ! Going to have a few quid on the handicap, 40 + point start with most

Key to our season could well be the 2 Mcs in the ‘engine room’ staying fit and playing to form (ditto last 10 games 2011 /12).
If one or the other gets bad injury (e.g McCarthy vs. Bowton a couple of years back), then I worry about the ability of Frazer F (19) to play week in, week out. Hope he’s good. One area where we could potentially come undone ….

The goalkeeping situation troubles me in the fact that if Ali gets injured I think Pollitt is past it and nicholls isn’t ready yet
