Just watched an interview with Fergie at Manure, just cause some reporter dared ask a question about “you know who”, they said they were banning the reporter. What a set of arrogant twots they are. It’s time the media imposed a banning order themselve’s on Manure, then see how they like it. No reporting of any of their matches, now that would be something.
24 May 2011 at 11:11 pm #66495I hate everything their biased glory hunting scummy ‘football fans’ stand for.
24 May 2011 at 11:28 pm #66497Totally agree. They would be in a pickle if the media refused to attend their games & completely blanked them. The sponsors to both team & on the hoardings would soon kick up a fuss if they were not getting the coverage they expect AND pay for.
I’m still stunned they even refused to speak to their own channel after one particular defeat.
According to the press reports on the incident they didnt even mention ‘HIM’ in a derogatory way. :angry-soapbox: :angry-soapbox: :angry-soapbox:
25 May 2011 at 12:12 am #66514He asked “how important is Giggs to your team?”
Apparently though UEFA have control who attends interviews so Manure can’t ban the reporter.

They all speak very highly of you. :roll:25 May 2011 at 12:16 pm #66537The reporter was doing his job in trying to get a story for his paper
Alex Ferguson was doing his job by trying to ensure that the only focus ahead of their biggest game of the season is on the football & nto on what one of his players may or may not have done with a z list “celebrity”The reporter knew exactly what he was doing with that question & he should accept any consequences of asking it.
Ferguson’s only mistake in my opinion was showing his irritation (& what he wanted doing about it) whilst the press were still about & he was miked up – so he’s wound up making himself look a bit of an mardy bum25 May 2011 at 3:50 pm #66565Maybe if Giggs hadnt taken out the injunction months back this would have all blown over by now.
He deserves the publicity his actions have given him.
25 May 2011 at 3:57 pm #66567If you live by the sword, you have to die by the sword. And Mr Giggs, this also applies if that sword is of the pork variety.
