……0-0 draw I’ve seen in a long time, two decent teams going hammer and tongs.
Thought our shape was good from first minute to last and on the balance of play we should have had all three points. IMO McDonald was by far the MOM, lost count of the number of times he stopped them going forward.
A bit of an off day from Grigg, but all in all a great performance with just the end product missing.
GC should never have brought Powell on, the lad is not fully fit and was rubbing his groin at the end.

Fulham are bogey team number 1. I think I read that’s now 17 games without a win against them (Oct 2005 Chimbonda last second header), which is our longest win less run against any league team :ohmy:
Hopefully we’ve steadied the ship after a rocky run and can now move forwards into mid table safety.
Old Mcdonald had a stinker then Gilby went off and he was top notch Power is lost with out his sole mate Perkins but he’s new to this level and is learning all the time I thought the Wolves lad did well when he came on Jordi was Jordi with some great balls but I thought they were poor and their for the taking which we didn’t do on wards and upwards.

Mcdonald was MOM for me too, & i was more than impressed with our 2 centre backs. Oh, & young byrne did alright as well when he came on.The only thing missing from todays game was a goal.
We will have to be getting more than two shots on target in 90 minutes before the goals start flying in. Pleasing to hear of a decent performance by the defence.
Did Gilbey play at Right back today before going off?Agreed JR it was an entertaining goalless draw, but just a tad frustrating. How many times did we not hit the target with a shot…. On another day we would have beaten them.
Thought Fulham were quite cautious until late on in the game. They hit the post at the end which would have been criminal if they’d have walked away with all 3 points.
Sort them shots out and we stand a good chance against pne..
So instead of playing a right back we have a weaker right back and loose a first choice midfielder.
These things just do my head in. Just stupid!!!
