Now i have said more than once on this site that i will not judge bobby this season,one of the reasons being he stated he needed 3 transfer windows,now with what he has said about certain players spudhead had left us with (kapo,de ridder just to name 2)he needs more time to build the squad because on paper these players are capable of playing prem football but arnt.Theres been some real tosh spouted on here by fans(reluctant to call you that,bobs words so you know what he thinks of you).I think bob will turn it round,and anybody who as read his book will know he his a very clever man were football is concerned.It is now starting to turn into a witch hunt now with the booing and no doubt the next step will be chanting for his head.Get behind bob and support him and what he his trying to do fo us he has a real love for this club so give him the time he needs and support him and i am sure we will reap the rewards

Can I state here and now, that it was my words not Roberto’s…. Bobby has far too much regard for anybody showing up to see Latics to state that, it was me who was unwilling to call them supporters (not fans, I am a fan of many things, it doesn’t mean I am a supporter of them).

How many times have you seen Gahouri play? The lad’s been injured.
Moreno hasn’t played for months, then had a couple of not-too-good games, but already he’s not going to make it?
Sinclair is a young lad on loan from Chelsea. Last time I checked, Chelsea weren’t in the business of keeping poor players on their books. They got rid of that Ukranian no-mark Schev-something or other, and that Shaun Wright-Do Dah. I’m sure they would get rid of Sinclair soon enough if he had no potential.
Thomas, is playing his first Premiership season, and is top tackler in the league, so accordingly he has no energy? Energy is something he is not short of, pace maybe. But certainly not energy.
And Diame? You honestly don’t think Diame has pace? Do you not think he will make a decent Premier League footballer?
Gomez and Amaya, yes, I agree for now, and Scotland, I actually like him, but I can see why others don’t.
I appreciate that you don’t like Martinez, but come on, not all his signings are not good enough to make it in this league.
What about McCarthy, Caldwell and Moses? Would like to hear your opinions on these.
one of the reasons i give martinez the slightest little respect,and as you know it is slight,is because of mc carthy he looks a potential world class player even from the little we have seen of him so far,2 more seasons max with us then onto big things,
caldwell is a plain,honest, ordinary, get stuck in defender who will never be anything special,but will always do a job,and rarely let you down,he talks and b o ll ocks others around him and i like that as well,he is just what we need and will be immense in the championship.
again with moses,i just hope all the hype is correct but he has only played about 20 mins so far so who knows,he is certainly not the saviour that many on here think will keep us up.
back on to chelsea/sinclair,they take many that dont make it,and from what i have seen of him,he will be playing at some lower league southern club before long.
and if you honestly think thomas,diame or moreno have any pace or indeed energy,i suggest you watch a few playbacks of games this season.
in particular watch the games against notts county in the cup,where diame could not match the pace,energy or work rate of a midfield from a team in the bottom/fourth tier of english football.
but as you know the point of my first reply was to say that all the players that bruce signed were not rubbish,and it is certainly NOT the reason we are deep in trouble now as many suggest.

One thing that puzzles me… if he hadn’t planned to play Scotland from the word go, what were our striking options supposed to be at the start of this season? Rodallega and King?
