If he plays like he did for most of last season and scores 10 or so goals, then I would be more than happy with him staying.

Villa have told Liverpool to stump up 19 mill for Downing well im not being funny but no way is Downing twice the player Charlie is. Do the same Dave and tell them to up the ante. Why should our players go on the cheap? i dont care if Downing is flaming English he aint worth that money.

Was thinking that misel. Compare what the two did last season and anyone apart from villa fans will not be able to tell you one exciting thing that Downing produced. :roll:

Downings allways been overrated. When Sven constantly picked him for England. 15mil+ for him is a joke but if Liverpool wanna spend that its up 2 them. Paying over the odds for every1 so far. Yet every Liverpool fan at my work will disagree.
