Enjoyed quite a few misen last night and although I doubt we can avoid the inevitable, yet again this club filled me with pride. Up the Bahrainian Tics.
11 April 2021 at 9:54 am #192194Aside from muttys lads on Tuesday, we have the easier run in.
11 April 2021 at 12:28 pm #192195Problem is Stu if any bad luck is going you can bet it lands on us injuries especially. Nothing has gone right this season and its remarkable we are still in touch. Had we not had outrageous amounts of injuries we probably wouldn’t be in the position we are in.
11 April 2021 at 12:31 pm #192196Can we put on a performance on Tuesday ? So many times this season we have put everything into the Saturday game and then failed to turn up for the mid week game.A lot of it has to do with the strength and depth of the squad but I just hope we are up for it .Come on Latics !

What about your trip to Hull?
Crewe, Shrewsbury & Burton have nothing to play for any more and you should be targetting those for 7-9 points. Swindon are utter cack and deserve to go down, and will probably be down by the time you play them.
10-12 points up for grabs there with a bit of extra effort, and without wanting to sound too harsh, if a side with everything at stake cant beat a side with nothing at stake in an end of season league fixture then they will get what they deserve. The results yesterday at Crewe, Doncaster & Accrington demonstrate that theory.
11 April 2021 at 1:39 pm #192200They’ll be promoted with nothing to play for by then and if we take 7-9 from the games between your mob and them then we’ll be safe
11 April 2021 at 4:33 pm #192201Interesting that you think 45-47 points will see you safe (unless of course you meant you are banking on 3pts on tuesday). Only once in the last 10 years has 45 points been enough to finish 5th bottom – its usually 50 and occasionally 51.
Also, your theory that Hull will be promoted and on the beach by 1 May equally means that Sunderland (and possibly Lincoln) will be resting their squads for the playoffs when they play Northampton & Wimbledon on the final day of the season.
11 April 2021 at 4:55 pm #192203Not that it matters to you in the slightest you goon supporting muppet but….
Northampton play 6 of the top 9.
Rochdale and Swindon are s***
If we get 7/9 points then that will be more than Bristol IMO and possibly even Wimbledon. We may not be mathematically safe but should be safe enough to lose to Hull and still be in control of our destiny.
If not, then we should be able to beat Swindon last day.
All depends on how we do in those 3 games but it is still the considered easier run in of the rest.
If I was you I’d be more concerned with Sunderland bottling it again than what happens to us.
Then again, living in Lincolnshire you could always change clubs again.
12 April 2021 at 8:03 am #192205Dont think we will get anything from the Black Cats unfortunately they still have quality players and should on paper easily dispose of us. We know it’s not played on paper and the one in who continues to defy the odds is us. So whilst a Sunderland win is more than likely you just know that with us you never know. COYL
12 April 2021 at 8:51 am #192206We beat them away with a probably lower quality side so anything is possible.
I do think they will win the game so it will indeed come down to the 3 games between. We need at least 7 points from those to have a chance.
