Hold on. You said last week that you’d accepted 6 weeks or so ago that in all likelihood Latics were going to get relegated this season and now you’re hanging on to your optimism??? :crazy: :crazy:

I still do, on balance. Just because I think we will probably go down doesn’t mean to say I have to stop hoping we won’t.My simple point on Saturday night was those 4 wins – if we get them – give us 38 points which is possibly enough to survive.
And actually, a few recent encouraging performances, coupled with a number of teams seemingly toppling down the table, has made me less sure that we will now go down. Not safe, just less sure.

Ah but you see, that’s exactly why I am the voice of reason; I don’t mind changing from dark to light if and when the need arises.
That said, I haven’t changed my stance on anything really. It’s perfectly reasonable to be undecided about whether we will be relegated given the uncertainty around at the moment.
Wavering like Dave? Give over, I’m nothing like either of those two. ;)
