The emperors new clothes

I can’t help but see similarities in this childrens classic fairy tale and the current state of our club at the moment. For those unfamiliar with the story, it’s about an egocentric emperor with a love of beautiful clothes, who gets stitched up by a couple of con, men who convince him that they can make him a costume so fine, it cannot be seen by the human eye. When really he is walking around int Knack! And whilst he is walking around, making a fool of himself, the crowd are all cheering and complimenting his fine clothes, until it takes a young boy to point out the glaringly obvious.
