When will Bob get it into his thick head that when a team as good as Spurs comes to town we are not going to be able to out play them. We then have to do things different like work hard get in there faces and close them down. First half was a disgrace not just Gomes (although he is never good enough) but the whole team.
If we give 100% and get beat I can accept that but the first half :angry-screaming: :scared-eek: :scared-eek:

Griff he was not the only one who was bad today McCarthy and Watson, Figeroa, Caldwell in fact all of them first half. But as you stated he is not good enough and Bob does him no favours keep picking him. We have McArthur and Jones if there not better than Gomes why the fook did Bob sign them?????
Just think some of them take time to settle. I’m not going to question the manager’s picks – he sees them every day, we don’t.
Personally, I’d play McArthur every day – he’s the rich man’s Hendry Thomas.

i just wish we would play like we did in the 2nd half all the time if possible, as opposed to having to get going after going 2 or 3 down before we start playing.

Totally agree. McArthur was fantastic when he came on. Loads of energy, got a foot in, showed good vision id drop 1 of the usual starters just to show there place in the starting 11 is under threat.

You sound like an Arsenal fan ! The likes of Stoke seem to be adapting to life in the Prem and moving forward and they are no bigger a club than us ! As I see it, we dip into our pockets and contribute as a collective to the club so if we see something that is glaringly wrong week in week out and by that I mean the inclusion of Gomez then surely we at least have the right to stand up and be heard or in this case voice our concerns on here ! Griff doesnt defend the guy and I can understand why he says what he does but the manager has to look at the situation and stop being obstinate ! This view or opinion does seem to be rife both on here and around the ground so why on Earth has Bob not cottoned on yet ? Gomez is not a scapegoat or victim of a witch hunt, he quite simply is not up to playing in the Prem and Bob needs to address this anon ! There are others not up to the task but Gomez simply stands out like a sore thumb so come on Bob do something and then move onto the next jink….Figueroa !!

Really on what comparison they regulally sell out 27000 every week have twice as many season ticket holders and pay £400 plus for a season ticket and their chairman is twice as rich as ours
