The prices of property in IOM is astronomical,a small two bed terrace would set you back over 200k.
A few years back the UK government/EU changed tax rules where all the ‘tax exiles’ in IOM had to be more transparent and show where their money was coming from.Hence,all the rich people earning shady money buggered off,leaving the IOMs mansions empty and without much hope of being sold.

Like a lot of UK holiday resorts, the place has lost its tourism to cheap hols abroad. Perhaps if we do leave the EU and the likes of Spain, France, Greece and Italy become priced out, our own tourism might rise from the ashes.
