If McLaren had been lined up to go to a Prem club then fair enough, but he ended up at Derby, not the FA Cup winners/Europa Lge club. He would have surely chosen us ahead of Derby had he been offered the job
Not so sure he didn’t get offered the contract coyle took but turned it down. I’d wager a hefty amount he’ll be on a better paid, longer contract at Derby
More about the Coyle Factor and the fact he hasn’t got a bloody clue !!.
The first half was truly appalling. Watson is hopeless – I know he’ll always have a place in Latics folklore,but he can’t pass,cross,shoot or tackle.
I felt sorry for the new kid.Thrown to the wolves and looked out of his depth.
Thank goodness they went off at half time.
Things improved following the half time changes and for 20 minutes after we scored, but the damage had already been done.
Losing 3 times at home in 8 days shows how far the “mighty” have fallen.
We look in real trouble and without direction.

See rene is in charge at Fulham now, be interesting to see how another candidate does, McLaren doin alright.
