didnt lee live in digs in diggle street with i think it was with a guy called jimmy who was a member of the supporters club with his wifeJimmy and Mary Hoy, they lived back to back with me in Margaret St. which runs into Diggle St.Many old latics players lodged there including Billy Sutherland.

I bumped into his son, an electrician, a couple of years ago. When he said his name was Koo I said “Your dad didn’t used to play for Latics did he”? He was quite taken aback that anybody might remember his dad.
